Hello welcome to my blog…I have just about found the time to finish the design and layout so time to start blogging!
So I’m David Knight and I currently work as a product design/ marketing guy at blackbox-av. I started to work for bbav in November 2009 and its been a really interesting time there so far.
blackbox-av operate within this wonderful and weired niche market place which is as I see it audio visual interpretation for museums, attractions, heritage and a little bit of retail.
To try and simplify this down I would say we help our customers who are normally museum curators, designers, consultants, fit out contractors etc to communicate messages and information to the visiting public.
When I first joined the company products were great concepts but the design and quality of finish product was in need of improvement. If you check out the current blackbox-av roduct range and you will be able to see the superb range of specialist internal and external audio visual interpretation products.
We have launched a new website to help communicate our new range of products and display the case studies from recent installations.
Not only do we supply a range of products we also get customers who come to us with some crazy, cool ideas on how they want to use audio visual equipment in a museum, heritage site, exhibition etc. We then help them to make this dream a reality…nice!
